Ross Anthony

President

Ross Anthony is the President and Board Chairman of over 100 partnerships and subsidiaries which constitute the Anthony Properties group of companies. Ross directs all of the firm’s activities including land development efforts on 7,000 acres in the DFW area, managing a portfolio of over 30 retail and entertainment properties, and the development of a rapidly growing portfolio of apartment complexes.

Under Ross’ guidance, Anthony Properties has grown into a diversified holding company, capable of operating successfully across various geographies and asset types. Ross began his real estate career after receiving his MBA, cum laude, with concentrations in Real Estate Finance and Private Equity Finance from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.

Jay Anthony

Advisor

Jay founded Anthony Properties in the 1980’s and now serves in an advisory role. With a well-rounded background in retail, finance, investments and more than thirty years experience in the real estate industry, Jay’s advice is an invaluable addition to Anthony Properties’ management team. Jay grew up in a retail environment and was greatly influenced by his grandfather, Charles Ross Anthony, founder of the C.R. Anthony Company, a chain of over 300 junior department stores headquartered in Oklahoma City. After earning a B.A. in Romance languages and economics from DePauw University, Jay enrolled at Duke University where he was awarded a Master’s in Business Administration in 1975.

Resa Gilmore

Vice President and Director of Operations

After attending college in Alma, Michigan, Resa began her career with Hall Real Estate where she worked in accounting and management of multi-family residential communities. Prior to joining Anthony Properties in 1992, she held positions in accounting and management with C.P.A. and law firms in Dallas and Chicago.

As Vice-President and Director of Operations, Resa is involved in all aspects of the company’s activities, including property management, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, construction, due diligence, financial analysis and development.

Brian B. Shiu

Vice President of Development

Since joining Anthony Properties in 1998, Brian’s primary focus has been expanding the Company’s nationwide developments. As Vice-President of Development, he is responsible for new project development, site selection, acquisition of raw land for future development, and entitlements. A native Dallasite, Brian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Abilene Christian University in 1986 with a concentration in Marketing and Finance.

David Gallichio

General Counsel and Land Developer

As General Counsel and Land Developer, David’s responsibilities include managing Anthony Properties’ land development efforts with a particular focus on industrial developments and Municipal Utility Districts. Additionally, David advises on legal, financial, and transactional matters required to support the company’s general operations.

David is a licensed attorney and CPA in Texas. Prior to joining Anthony Properties in 2021, David served as the CFO and General Counsel of a diversified real estate company, a corporate attorney at Winstead PC and Jones Day and a forensic accounting manager at Ernst & Young LLP, in each firm’s Dallas office. David received his JD from Tulane University and his BBA in Accounting and Masters of Accountancy from Baylor University.

Matt Gandy, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Matt joined the team in 2019, transitioning over from public accounting where he managed the tax compliance and planning for Anthony Properties and related entities. He received his BBA in Accounting from The University of North Texas, graduating summa cum laude. He also attended Southern Methodist University where he earned a Master of Science in Accounting degree.

In addition to managing the accounting and compliance functions, Matt handles tax planning and assists with financial analysis. He is also in charge of maintaining insurance policies for the company’s real estate holdings.

Justin Todd

Assistant Vice President of Development

Justin has been with Anthony Properties since 2013. Responsibilities for Justin include site selection, market analysis, and financial feasibility for new projects. Justin has successfully overseen the ground-up development and full lease-up of multiple retail strip centers.  He handles all marketing of existing real estate assets and assists in handling property management for existing properties. Justin earned his BSBA in Managerial Finance from East Carolina University’s College of Business, graduating magna cum laude.

Courtney Velazquez

Accounting Associate

Courtney joined the Anthony Properties team in 2019 as an Accounting Associate. She earned a BS in Marketing from Oklahoma State University, an MA in Political Science from the George Washington University and brings with her many years of experience in oil and gas accounting.

Courtney is responsible for bookkeeping operations, payables, receivables and construction draws for development projects. She also is charged with handling property management, property taxes and insurance compliance for all Anthony Properties entities.
